The University of Nottingham is one of the very first full-campus educational institutions built in Malaysia. A British University mainly launched it as its franchise. The University began operations in September 2000, opening its doors for only as many as eighty students in a tiny campus in the city center. Many years later, the University of Nottingham spread across a 125-acre site, accommodating an estimated 5,000+ students, located 35 km south of Kuala Lumpur.
