The University of Southampton is a branch of the original Southampton University established in Malaysia. It was established in 2012 at the request of the Malaysian Government in the EducCity Development phase and is located inside Iskandar, Malaysia. It is an internationally acclaimed university with seven different campuses, six in the different vicinities of the UK and one in Malaysia. An incredibly talented first batch of the university graduated in 2016, and ever since, the number of students graduating every year has kept increasing. The university offers a range of programs and courses at all graduate, undergraduate, and foundation levels of education. They have also added many new programs to their palate, including Business, Economics, and Computer Science, expanding their portfolio and adapting to the latest fields of education.

The University of Southampton offers split-campus degree programs where you can get the chance to study a Southampton-based educational curriculum at the Malaysia-based campus for the first two years while the final two years can be spent at the research-centered, world-class UK campus. These programs are made available with a choice of either studying all four years at the Malaysian campus or splitting the years between Malaysian and UK campuses.

In 2021, the University of Southampton Malaysia relocated the newly constructed campus in the center of Eco Galleria, Iskandar, and Johor. It is a widespread campus constructed on 150,000 square yards and is equipped with all the modern facilities to accommodate 2,000 students without hassle.
